A ragasztók csoportjában tartozik az epoxy ragasztó. Az epoxy ragasztó gyorskötésű, nagy szakítószilárdságú, színtelen, oldószermentes ragasztó, amely szinte minden felületen és minden célra alkalmazható. A ragasztó tulajdonságai között szerepel, hogy kül- és beltéren egyaránt használható, száradás után festhető, polírozható, csiszolható és fúrható, továbbá nagyon könnyen adagolható. A ragasztó használata azért olyan népszerű, mert erős ragasztóerővel rendelkezik a különböző felületeken, mint például az alumínium, acél, fa, kerámia, műanyag. Az epoxy ragasztó esetében is érvényes a ragasztókra jellemző felhasználási útmutató. Ez alatt azt kell érteni, hogy a ragasztani kívánt felületet minden szennyeződéstől szükséges megtisztítani, legyen az por, rozsa, olaj, zsír stb. Ami az alapos használatát illeti, miután megtisztítottuk a felületet, akár egy kicsit meg is lehet csiszolni, így a kötés erősebb lesz.
Az epoxy ragasztóval történő munka maga nem igényel különösebb szakértelmet, a szükséges ragasztómennyiséget egyszerűen ki kell nyomni a fecskendőből, majd azt egy keverőlapáttal alaposan összekeverni és az így keletkezett ragasztóanyagot három percen belül fel kell használni. a ragasztási munka utolsó lépéseként vigyük fel a ragasztóanyag keveréket a ragasztani kívánt felület egyik részére, majd illesszük össze a másik ragasztandó felülettel. Ha egy kis epoxy ragasztó nem kívánatos helyre kerül, azt egy kis univerzális oldószerrel kötés előtt le lehet törölni, ha pedig kötés után vesszük észre a ragasztó nyomokat, akkor egy kaparó segítségével el tudjuk távolítani.
